“I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how amazing your program is!! The content, the delivery....excellent. I don't want to be critical of my 200 hour program, but it pales in comparison to what you have going on. You are amazing" - Yoga Teacher + Ayurveda Student

"I wanted to take a minute to say thank you from deep in my heart for your teachings this weekend. I walked away feeling so at ease and peaceful. The sattva {peace} theme really set in and was such a profound reminder to me that I need more of that in my life. Physically I felt amazing! From the beginning of the weekend I began to feel more clear, relaxed and zen. Even my husband and the kids noticed. I felt like I hit the ‘reset’ button. – Yvette Racines, Yoga Teacher and Studio Owner
About Kaya's Approach to Live Study The Classical Way To Learn
Our precious time in one another’s presence is the classical way to learn healing techniques. As you delve into the direct experiences of profound yogic tools, you are emboldened to teach from a place of deep inner experience and integrity. Wonderfully, this means more healing and transformation for YOU on your path to learning to support others in their healing and transformation.
Boutique In-Person Trainings with Kaya emphasize 4 key pillars –
Hands-On SRY tools – learn and practice hands-on therapeutic tools in the Spinal Release Yoga approach to releasing spinal tension
Systematic and Holistic Pedagogy – engage in kinesthetic, tactile, auditory and visual learning capacities with a methodology for teaching teachers that allows you to successfully learn, digest and apply the material in the real world.
Direct Experience – retreat-like immersion in the techniques heals YOU while you simultaneously learn to apply those tools to others
Sharing Sangha – your community of supportive yogis grows and deepens as you spend several days learning, partner pairing and healing together.
“Kaya's knowledge is obviously vast and her communication is so clear, her presence so unencumbered by personal issues or needing validation from her students, that the teaching is extremely accessible. She's totally organized and calm, clearly in her element, and the pace is measured - never rushed but never lagging. She is aware of everyone as individuals and of the whole group at the same time. The whole experience allows for as easeful as possible a download of both the intellectual information and the energetics of the teaching that's coming through" - Susan L, SRY teacher in Training
