Hi! Hope this finds you well. I have been wanting to tell you about the yoga that I practice, because I think you'll love it and that it could benefit you, as it has benefited me. My classes are called Spinal Release Yoga, and my teacher in trained in a style called Svaroopa® Yoga. It is REALLY REALLY different from most other yoga out there... here are a few reasons:
it is gentle AND deep at the same time... hard to explain this, but you just have to come and try it
it is very meditative and relaxing
it is not a work out
there are no mirrors
there are no yoga mats
students are diverse in age, gender & body type
it DECOMPRESSES THE SPINE - this is the main thing about it that makes it unique... literally, the angles of the poses release the tensions in muscles that attach to the spine
it feels amazing - during and after
