ContinueHYDRATION: Upon waking drink a large glass of room temperature water {if you have sluggish digestion, you can opt for ginger tea; if you are in a hot climate you can opt for cold-brewed chamomile or mint, brewed overnight by placing the herbs in a mason jar of pure water, then straining in the morning}
SPICE ~ Include spices such as ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, fennel and coriander in your cooking. You can also drink a ginger tea 15 minutes before meals to kindle digestive fire.
Ritualize Mealtimes ~ Try anchoring at least one meal per day, to the same time of day each day. For example, lunch every day at 12:3pm, or breakfast every day at 8am.
